- Fetched because the held papers kept citing it
Cited by Levin-group papers as part of the classic body of work on bioelectricity in patterning, alongside Jaffe and Nuccitelli. It is used to support the claim that resting-potential regulation, ion currents and electric fields in non-neural tissues matter for embryogenesis, regeneration and cancer. These works cite it as a general reference for that claim and do not describe its specific arguments or findings. Funk (2015) cites a different Pullar paper (2006), not this book.
A now classic body of work in this field (Jaffe 1981; Nuccitelli et al. 1986; Borgens et al. 1989; Pullar 2011) has been augmented by modern molecular approaches
